Pallet stackers are warehouse equipment designed to lift pallets to the required height and move them over short distances. They are used for storing goods in racking systems, loading vehicles, and servicing production lines. Alwark supplies Linde pallet stackers with lifting capacities ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 kg and lift heights of up to 6,216 mm. If pallets only need to be transported at low level, pallet trucks may be a more economical option.
A pallet truck raises the pallet only enough for transportation and is designed for moving loads at floor level. A pallet stacker lifts loads to greater heights — models in this category can reach lift heights of up to 6,216 mm, making them suitable for servicing racking systems and working in elevated storage areas.
The lifting capacity should be selected based on the heaviest pallet to be handled. For lighter goods, a 1,000 kg model is often sufficient, while heavier pallets containing beverages, construction materials, or metal products are more commonly handled with 1,600–2,000 kg models. The required lift height should also be considered, as the permissible load capacity may vary depending on the lifting height. Alwark can help select the appropriate configuration based on your racking layout and operating conditions.
Depending on the model, Linde pallet stackers offer lift heights ranging from 1,590 mm (D08 M) to 6,216 mm (L14–L20 and RW versions). If higher racking needs to be serviced, electric stackers or narrow-aisle forklifts may be worth considering.
