Compact military aircraft tug built for operation in the most demanding conditions. This model was originally developed for towing aircraft on aircraft carriers, giving it an exceptionally robust construction that complies with more than 20 military standards (MIL-STD). The STT has successfully passed more than 120 performance and reliability tests, including resistance to vibration and shocks caused by underwater explosions. Today, the tug is used by military air forces and naval fleets in countries around the world.
The STT is designed for towing light and medium-sized military aircraft.
The model is equipped with a 68 kW DEUTZ diesel engine, an automatic ZF Full-Power-Shift transmission, and rear-wheel drive.
Its compact design, tight 3.38 m turning radius, and low cabin entry allow it to operate efficiently in the confined spaces of aircraft carriers and military airfields.
Depending on requirements, the tug can be equipped with night-vision lights, additional ballast, a platform for a mobile launch unit (MSU), and other military accessories.
