This is a high-power diesel military aircraft tug, designed for the safe and efficient towing of heavy military transport, passenger, and cargo aircraft. The BISON D 620 is designed for military aircraft with a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of up to 250 tonnes.
The tug is equipped with a 115 kW DEUTZ diesel engine and an automatic ZF Full-Power-Shift transmission.
Permanent four-wheel drive, high tractive force, and the option to select front-wheel, all-wheel, or “crab steering” modes ensure excellent maneuverability even in confined airfield spaces.
The model can be equipped with an open, enclosed, or no-cabin version, along with various military equipment, including NATO standard accessories, remote control, and an air-transport package.
