This is a medium-power diesel military aircraft tug, designed for the safe and reliable towing of military aircraft and ground support equipment. The model is built for intensive use at military airfields and can operate under demanding climate and operational conditions. Thanks to its compact construction, high tractive force, and excellent maneuverability, it is suitable both for day-to-day air force operations and for missions meeting NATO standards.
The BISON D 370 is designed for aircraft with a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of up to 125 tonnes.
The tug is equipped with an economical 74.4 kW DEUTZ diesel engine and an automatic ZF Full-Power-Shift transmission, and can be fitted with front-wheel, all-wheel, or “crab steering” steering systems.
The model is offered without a cabin, or with an open or enclosed cabin, and can be adapted for operation from –30 °C to +52 °C. It can also be optionally equipped with night-vision lights, NATO connectors, equipment adapted for air transport, and the option to run on jet fuel.
