High-power diesel military aircraft tug, designed for towing extremely heavy military transport, cargo, and special-purpose aircraft. This model is built for operation at military airfields where maximum tractive force, reliability, and safe ground handling of the largest aircraft are required. Its robust construction, powerful drivetrain, and modular platform allow the tug to be adapted to a wide range of military operations and to requirements meeting NATO standards.
The BISON D 1000 can service military aircraft with a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of up to 400 tonnes.
The tug is equipped with a 200 kW DEUTZ TCD 7.8 L6 diesel engine, an automatic ZF Full-Power-Shift transmission, and permanent four-wheel drive.
A tractive force of up to 305 kN, a standard all-wheel steering system, and the option of front-wheel or “crab steering” modes ensure precise maneuvering even in confined airfield spaces.
The model can be equipped with an open, enclosed, or elevating cabin, a remote control system, a central lubrication system, and other equipment tailored to military operations.
