MHL450

Fuchs presents the MHL450 — a new log-handling machine designed specifically for pulling heavily loaded trailers. With 241 hp of engine power, the machine delivers strong traction, maximum efficiency, and powerful engine performance, while additional safety features set it apart in the market.

Technical Specifications

  • Engine power (per EU Stage V standard): 241 hp / 180 kW
  • Engine power (per EPA Tier 3 standard): 244 hp / 182 kW
  • Maximum operating weight without attachments: 38.4 t
  • Reach: up to 16 m

Efficient Operation

A reach of up to 16 m makes loading, unloading, and transporting logs easier. Incoming trucks and railcars can be unloaded quickly even from a second row, and logs can be loaded onto a trailer, moved a further distance, and unloaded again — all with a single machine.

Stability and Safety

A dual-circuit brake system ensures safe machine operation. A sturdy undercarriage guarantees maximum stability even at full reach. Outriggers provide excellent stability and increased ground clearance in the stationary position, while, combined with pneumatic tires, the sturdy undercarriage offers a major advantage when working on uneven surfaces. An optional underguard is also available to protect the hydraulics and drive system from damage.
