Alwark expands and acquires 100% of Linde Material Handling Ukraine shares
UAB Alwark is expanding its activities into new markets — the company announces that it has acquired 100% of the shares of the Ukrainian company Linde Material Handling Ukraine from Linde Material Handling GmbH in Germany, one of the world's leading manufacturers of forklift trucks and storage equipment. In the Ukraine, Alwark will distribute Linde MH industrial trucks and warehouse equipment as well as the service in the future.
Linde Material Handling Ukraine occupies about 5 percent of the Ukrainian market, and Alwark sees great potential and expects to double its market share in Ukraine in 2-3 years.“We are pleased that Linde Material Handling GmbH values our work. In Lithuania and Latvia, we are one of the market leaders in forklifts and warehousing equipment, we have the trust of our customers, developed services and a technical service network. Entering the Ukrainian market is a new business development opportunity for us”, says Gediminas Šimkus, a shareholder of Alwark . “We hope that Alwark's experience and very strong Linde brand will allow it to cover up to 10% of the Ukrainian market in the next 2-3 years, and in the long run - 20% of the market share".

Aleksandr Kostyrko, who has many years of experience in the sale of industrial equipment in Ukraine, has been appointed the new head of Linde MH Ukraine.
